Speaking of DJ Potas, is to speak of a true legend of hip-hop in Spain and more specifically the city of Zaragoza. In 1983 that began his career dancing break, then in his role as DJ, which continues until today, has suffered in order to work with many MC's of the city to even run a radio show specializing in Hip Hop culture, so I decided to dedicate this post to the authentic legendary b.boy the scene of my country, with four of his works, works that were edited on tape, as in Spain in the 90's, most of the jobs were demos on tapes, which they used to pass from hand to hand between them and b.girls b.boys.

Until 93 most models were nothing more than recordings made to be passed between colleagues from hand to hand and very few had an edition designed to distribute and sell. MC Twix (Allan Beeler) from the American base of Zaragoza introduced many Hip Hop Albums in the city and was one of those responsible for the change of style and sound of rap Zaragoza. This tape recorded with the legendary DJ Potas gave clear examples of the style and the competition that he would later known throughout the country with the venerable Claan.

Radiotron (1980 - 1983) VHS Rip

The story is long and interesante. Primero Radiotron opened as a nightclub in 1980 by a guy named "AJ", who was a close friendto Ice T. along with Chris "The Globe" Taylor, formed the legendary band Radio Crew.
In 1983 it was closed and reopened as a kind of youth center. It was not just a youth center in the community, but also served as a safe place for young dancers concentrate their creativity, leaving thenegativity that plagued the city of L.A.
Children from different neighborhoods, beliefs and underworld came to Radiotron, ignoring their differences and participating in recreational activities that have a definite flavor Hip Hop and ultimately played a large role in the definition of Hip Hop .quickly becoming the focal point of the early Hip Hop in LA.
Movies like Breakin, Breakin 2 (Electric Boogaloo), Breaking N 'Entering, as well as many music videos were filmed at Radiotron. and not only provided a solid foundation, but also led past to present to the future of shooting.
In 1985, the community center that had become knownaffectionately as Radiotron was demolished because of legal issues.

Although only represents one of the pillars of the community, which once housed the original Radiotron location is still alive in the hearts and minds of the b-boys and b-girls across the nation Hip Hop, so from now think of an event as Radiotron, means a world of the family meeting Hip Hop.
Big stars that are synonymous with the international chain-hop havesupported and appeared at events Radiotron, Old school legends such as: Air Force Crew, Kurtis Blow, Ice-T, Dre, Shake City Rockers, Greg Mac, Egyptian Lover, Mr. Freeze, Cool, Don Camballock, Jurassic 5, Huey,New York City Breakers, Rocksteady, Tony Bazel, Pop n Taco, Fabulous Force, Boogaloo Shrimp, Baka Boys, Sway And Technology, Pop n Pete, Orko, Mr. Wiggles, Rge Renegades, Style Elements, LA Breakers, Rockin Wizards, and to the same Michael Jackson.

Kinda like a UK version of Justin Warfield's 'My Field Trip to Planet 9'. Probably most famous for the Ian Dury sampling track 'What's Goin' Down'.
